Biomass as Mulch

After distillation the lids are lifted and the mobile stills are towed out for emptying of the spent leaves and twigs. The steaming process sterilizes the plant material killing weed seeds and insects, ensuring a first-class pure, clean organic ground cover and mulch.

The mulch is weed free and non-toxic to animals and plants.  It suppresses weed growth and reduces the need for watering.  It stays in place even in very high winds. Landscape architects and home gardeners particularly like its natural appearance and bushland fragrance. After two or three years the mulch breaks down into organic humus.
